Bar -N is a high-energy Honky-tonk band dazzling audiences in the Southwest from Shiprock, New Mexico, to southern Arizona, into New Mexico and Colorado. Bar -N is a colorful collage of some of Navajo Nation's finest musicians. Band members pride themselves on the fact they make their visual impressions as important as their sound.

Bar -N performs a diverse range of tunes. They are not limited to one category of music; they are able to perform all styles, from Honky-tonk Country, Classic Rock to Blues. They groove to everything from R&B, Rock, Jazz, Country, and Top 40 ('70's, 80's, 90's and today).

The musical and stylistic elements and the band's superior musicianship, make Bar -N songs instantly recognizable and danceable.

The members come from all parts of the Navajo Nation, and they come together as friends and family to play all styles of music: They each have stayed true to their musical roots and combined different influences.

Born and raised in Teec Nos Pos, AZ Jonathan Tso began forming the current Bar -N band four years ago. Jonathan recruited some of the finest musicians from the Navajo Nation. Among the ingredients that stand out in Bar -N's style is their ability to keep any party going! A combination of great music and a fun atmosphere can make any occasion one of the best times that you will ever experience!

Always giving their best performances and integrating their artistic ability, Bar -N continues to deliver songs that keep people dancing, no matter where they are. With this kind of commitment, Bar -N carves their own niche.

As Tso puts it, "playing the music we love, is the beginning of our dreams and will try to take our brand of music as far as we can go". 

The Name Bar -N derives from the old Navajo Nation livestock brand, which is still in use today by ranchers and livestock growers throughout the Navajo Nation.
